What is Table Poet?
Table Poet is part social club, part mail club, reimagining a ritual lost to modern life: the salon. Table Poet exists in two forms. A Social Club, reimagining the salon every month in the parlour of a Brooklyn brownstone. A Mail Club, a global subscription community, where recipients can build a salon of their own.
Who is Table Poet for?
Table Poet is for women who exist at the intersections of creativity, intellect, and food. Whether you have hosted a hundred times or never once opened your door to others, Table Poet gives you the tools to do it well.
What's inside a hosting kit?
Each edition contains four components:
A Letter: From one Table Poet to another, on the month's creative medium and format of gathering.
An Object: The signature paper object that runs the month's gathering, branded, reusable, and built to be collected.
A Key: An NFC tag unlocking the gathering's digital portal: hosting instructions, curated recipes, and the playlist.
An Archive: A sticker card sent with a member's first mail, plus a collectible sticker for each month's format.
How does the subscription work?
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Each month, your hosting kit is dispatched in accordance with our shipping schedule and delivered to your door. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date. Cancellations submitted after the billing date has passed will take effect at the end of the current paid cycle. To cancel, log into your account or contact us at welcome@tablepoet.com.
Do you ship internationally?
The inaugural edition of Table Poet ships exclusively within the United States. International shipping will be available in subsequent editions. If you are based outside the US and would like to be notified when international fulfilment launches, please sign up to our international waitlist here.
When does my first kit arrive?
First letters ship in November. Once your kit has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Domestic delivery within the United States typically occurs within 3–7 business days of dispatch.
Can I host if I've never hosted before?
Yes. Table Poet is designed precisely for that! Hosting is a practice, one that can be learned, refined, and made entirely your own. Everything inside your kit is built to give you the confidence and the structure to open your door, regardless of whether it is your first time or your fiftieth.
