What is Table Poet?
Table Poet is a global supper club delivered through the post. Each month, subscribers receive a hosting kit built around a single intellectual premise, designed to help you gather the people in your life around a table and a single conversation. We handle the mental lift, you host the evening.
Who is Table Poet for?
Table Poet is for anyone who believes that the dinner table is one of the last great spaces for genuine cultural exchange. Whether you have hosted a hundred times or never once opened your door to others, Table Poet gives you the architecture to do it well.
What's inside a hosting kit?
Each kit contains six physical pieces and two digital assets.
Physical
1- The Premise: a postcard introducing the month's intellectual theme and why it was chosen
2- The Host's Companion: instructions to be read aloud at the table that set the scene and the rules for the evening
3- The Guest List: an interactive framework for choosing who belongs at your table
4- The Recipes: five dishes comprising a welcome drink, three sharing platters, and a dessert
5- The Schedule: a prep guide covering what to buy, what to prepare, and when
6- The Tablescape: a visual moodboard including candles, serving ware, and linens
Digital
7- The Invitation: an editable digital invites for the moment you set a date
8- The Playlist: a curated Spotify playlist composed for the evening's theme
How does the subscription work?
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Each month, your hosting kit is dispatched in accordance with our shipping schedule and delivered to your door. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date. Cancellations submitted after the billing date has passed will take effect at the end of the current paid cycle. To cancel, log into your account or contact us at welcome@tablepoet.com.
Do you ship internationally?
The inaugural edition of Table Poet ships exclusively within the United States. International shipping will be available in subsequent editions. If you are based outside the US and would like to be notified when international fulfilment launches, please sign up to our international waitlist here.
When does my first kit arrive?
First letters ship in June for a July hosting. Once your kit has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Domestic delivery within the United States typically occurs within 3–7 business days of dispatch.
Can I host if I've never hosted before?
Yes. Table Poet is designed precisely for that. Hosting is a practice, one that can be learned, refined, and made entirely your own. Everything inside your kit is built to give you the confidence and the structure to open your door, regardless of whether it is your first time or your fiftieth.
